US announces fresh restrictions on H-1B visas

The US has announced fresh curbs on H-1B visas, with the Department of Homeland Security unveiling what it described as an interim final rule "to protect US workers, restore integrity to the H-1B program and better guarantee that H-1B petitions are approved only for qualified beneficiaries and petitioners".

AIIA, QUT partner to deliver Qld tech skills program

Australia’s peak body for the tech industry, the Australian Information Industry Association (​AIIA​) has been awarded a $250,000 grant from the Queensland Government to partner with the Queensland University of Technology (QUT)​ to deliver critical skills around innovation in IT and cyber security in the State.
