Nexion to acquire Aiscorp and Silicon

Hybrid cloud and SD-WAN infrastructure operator Nexion has entered into an agreement to acquire New Zealand information technology companies Aiscorp and Silicon, tripling the company's net worth to $18.3 million.

ANU research may open door to cheaper solar technology

Researchers at the Australian National University have collaborated with their counterparts at the California Institute of Technology to come up with a way of combining silicon with another material known as perovskite to more efficiently convert sunlight into electricity.
