Finnish telecommunications vendor Nokia has deployed its artificial intelligence-powered Scene Analytics technology for a proof of concept to Genk, Belgium to quantify the level of noise pollution along one of the city’s high streets.
Nokia and the City of Melbourne have conducted a trial using Nokia Scene Analytics artificial intelligence (AI) technology aimed at developing what they say is a deeper understanding of waste disposal behaviour - and allow the city to tackle the issue of waste dumping more efficiently and keep laneways and the busy and narrow city streets and pedestrian areas even more clean, safe and free of garbage.
