The launch was in collaboration with Taiwanese fabless semiconductor company MediaTek and its entity, Airoha and end-to-end managed network service using SD-WAN technology for retail stores provider Axon Network.
MediaTek’s Filogic, a wireless networking SoC (systems-on-a-chip) designed for routers, repeaters, access points, and mesh networking devices, and Airoha 10G-PON platform power the device so customers benefit from faster speeds, lower latency, higher capacity, reliability, and security.
Lumen Technologies did not reveal more details. The device is poised to launch in early 2024.
