Australian sustainable manufacturing technology company Xefco has raised $10.5 million in its seed extension funding round to support the scaling of its plug in to play model, which is claimed to be able to reduce textile emissions and ensure a credible greener supply chain in the fashion industry.

Scientists at Deakin University have used a common commercial polymer to create a solid-state electrolyte, opening the door to a future free from batteries catching fire or exploding if they get too hot.
