Australian-listed Macquarie Technology Group (ASX: MAQ) has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Macquarie Data Centres Pty Ltd (MDC), has received confirmation from the Independent Planning Commission NSW that it has favourably determined MDC’s state significant development application for the construction of a third data centre at the Macquarie Park Data Centre Campus (IC3 SuperWest).

Macquarie profit dips despite revenue growth

Macquarie Telecom Group has suffered a 17.5% drop in net profit for the full year 2020, despite increasing revenue by 8% to $266.2 million for the year.

Macquarie Telecom says it has achieved four successive years of strong profit growth, with its results for the full-year 2018 revealing net profit after tax was up 20% to $17 million from a profit of $14.2 million for the previous year.
