PCs built by the bigger American companies were just too expensive for the rest of the world, but the fact that one could put together a box by buying grey-market parts led to the spread of Windows.

Twitter backflips on social media promotion policy

Yesterday, Twitter was against using its platform to link to other social media platforms. Today that policy has been obliterated, and Twitter now says it will poll user opinion before making policy changes.
