Peter Dinham - retired in 2020. He is a veteran journalist and corporate communications consultant. He has worked as a journalist in all forms of media – newspapers/magazines, radio, television, press agency and now, online – including with the Canberra Times, The Examiner (Tasmania), the ABC and AAP-Reuters. As a freelance journalist he also had articles published in Australian and overseas magazines. He worked in the corporate communications/public relations sector, in-house with an airline, and as a senior executive in Australia of the world’s largest communications consultancy, Burson-Marsteller. COMPANY NEWS: Semiconductor company Archer Materials has advanced its quantum chip project by building an integrated pulsed electron spin resonance (p-ESR) microsystem on a chip to detect and materials for important signs of quantum electron spin manipulation at a very small scale.
Sony has been hit with penalties of $3.5 million for for misrepresenting PlayStation gamers’ rights after the competition watchdog, the ACCC, took Sony to court for making false and misleading representations on its website and in dealings with Australian consumers about their Australian Consumer Law rights.
